(I'm not sure whether the computer is lying and you actually got it, or not.) I'm just finishing up my vacation- that's why I've been using e-mail so much recently. Thanks for your respons and physical address- oh, and stuff about propaganda and brainwashing is really neat. When I come back to the US (who knows at this point when it will be) We can practice chinese- that is, when I come to New York city for the first time. (Can you believe it, I've been to Beijing 4 times, but I have not yet made it to NY city.- Must admit though, I've been reading the newspaper too much- I think I'm scared to go to NY- I'm living in a room with the illusion of padded walls provided by the party. It's quite comfortable in here. - :) ZHU LI While in China, our Heroine also developed the filthy habit of chain smoking. We ll, not really, but she decided that since the buggers in her nose are nearly bl ack, she might as well start. Black buggers are the worst of her worries. Hmmmmm...... Can zen bubbles protect one against the person sitting next to her in the train station with tuberculosis? Well, perhaps that's going to far. She has no sufficient medical training to det ermine whether the person sitting next to her has tuberculosis... (but, TB is ram pant in China,) However She does have enough medical expertise to recognize when a man in extre me respitory distress- high pitched squeel, body shaking, too tired to even sit u p, is close to death. And she didn't do anything to help him. And her train was c alled. And she learned..... She didn't learn anything.
